The Char-Meck Street Maintenance crew performed patching for this process in March & April of this year. There were funding delays for the project which pushed scheduling to late Fall. Street Crews marked the pavement for resurfacing in October. Unfortunately the Char-Meck Street Maintenance budget ran out of funds before they got to our community. Anthem is now scheduled for July/August of 2010.

The Board is currently working with the City Of Charlotte to evaluate the necessity of Speed Humps in our community. The following information is the most recent update as of 8/19/09.

The City has traffic counts of 1300 and 1800 cars using Ross Moore Ave up near Monroe Rd. Silabert Ave is only carrying around 400 so it won’t qualify for traffic calming.

Ross Moore Ave is now waiting on a speed survey to determine the level of speeding. It is also on our road hump waiting list. The City should have the radar information back within 30-60 days. Assuming that excessive speeding is shown, the street will sit on our waiting list until City funding is available.

Once approved , the Board will vote YES/NO . If YES, then the Board will discuss placement and quantity with the City.
