Matlock reported several vehicle breakins on Silabert in the past few days.  The vehicles were unlocked.   The suspect gain access to the garage using the garage door opener.  With the holidays in full swing residents are being reminded to lock their doors (vehicles/homes) and secure all valuables the best they can.  If anybody is going out of town you can email Officer Padgett at dpadgett1@cmpd.org and they can be added to the list of zone checks to reduce the chance of break-ins.
