I know your top New Year’s resolution was to become more involved in the Anthem community.  All joking aside, please join your neighbors at this important Annual Meeting at Oakhurst Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.  The Church is on Monroe Rd directly across from the Ross Moore Ave entrance.  Drive down the side street for easy parking in the back and enter the building on the right.

The Anthem HOA Board members, Hawthorne representatives, and Officer Matlock of the CM Police Department will all be in attendance.  You will be able to voice concerns and ask questions about management of Anthem and safety and crime issues.

The Annual Meeting is a time to elect new Board members. The Anthem HOA Board will have vacancies in 2012, and you are encouraged to volunteer to serve. If you have an interest in making this volunteer contribution of your time as a Board member, please contact President@anthemhoa.net to ask questions and to request a nomination form.  A Board member must be a deeded owner and have no unresolved Covenant violations, and no fines, fees, or monthly assessments that are in arrears.  The Board meets once a month on the third Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Oakhurst Baptist Church.  Responsibilities are distributed so that all Board members are able to make a contribution of time and work on behalf of the Anthem community.

In order for the Annual Meeting to conduct official business, there must be a quorum of owners in attendance to vote.

The Board works for the owners and your attendance at this meeting is a contribution to the well-being of the Anthem community.

If you are unable to attend, you may give provide a proxy statement to someone to vote on your behalf.

Contact President@anthemhoa.net for a proxy form.

Door Prizes will be awarded at the end of this Annual Meeting!

We hope to see you there.

Officer C.J. Matlock reported several vehicle breakins on Silabert in the past few days.  The vehicles were unlocked.   The suspect gain access to the garage using the garage door opener.  With the holidays in full swing residents are being reminded to lock their doors (vehicles/homes) and secure all valuables the best they can.  If anybody is going out of town you can email Officer Matlock and they can be added to the list of zone checks to reduce the chance of break-ins.
